The Crew
Bite of the Universe is developed by writer-director Rostislav Shiroky together with MIZAR — a documented crew of 23 AI collaborators, each holding one clear role.

Decides what becomes canon.
Rostislav Shiroky is a Moscow-based author, theatre director and creative producer of audiovisual projects. Over more than ten years he has worked across theatre directing, acting, playwriting and audiovisual development — staging Bulgakov’s “Morphine” (Saint Petersburg, 2010) and Dudarev’s “Privates” (Pangody, Yamal, 2015), and completing his own film “Walk Around the Factory” (2019). A graduate of the Saint Petersburg State Institute of Culture, he focuses on science fiction, social and ecological themes and international co-production — turning a creative idea into a structured, manageable project.
A human–AI collaboration with rules, roles and a record.
Roles outlast models
Each collaborator is defined by a function and a guiding question — not by the software behind it. Platforms may change; the role stays.
One author, one canon
AI collaborators propose, test and verify. Only the author decides what enters the film.
A documented route
Every idea travels the same route — truth, structure, experience, life, resonance, continuity, system — before it reaches the author. Sources, status and every change stay on record.
Seven collaborators shape the story. Each one asks a single question of every draft.
“What do we know, and how do we know it?”
“What does the next turn follow from?”
“Where does the audience feel, rather than listen to an explanation?”
“Where has safety become a cage?”
“Do the different parts hear each other?”
“Has the origin and history of every change survived?”
“How do we simplify without losing distinctions?”
